The Christmas tree of fulfilled wishes at the Hotel Barceló

During December, a Christmas tree with 30 wishes of young patients from the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Masaryk Institute of Oncology was placed in the hotel foyer. Each hotel visitor could take the wish from the tree and fulfil it. And because the interest of the donors was great, the children were finally able to add another 30 wishes.

On Monday before Christmas, Jiří Procházka, together with the hotel representatives, handed over a total of 60 gifts directly under the tree in the Masaryk Institute of Oncology. The children were happy to unpack plush toys, games, blankets, or art supplies, which will brighten up their moments while waiting for the radiation.

We are glad that we had the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful Christmas tradition, and we already know that next year will not be any different.
